Police cruiser crashes into Wells Fargo Bank in Orinda ORINDA, Calif. (KRON) -- A police cruiser crashed through a Wells Fargo building early Friday morning in Orinda.The crash occurred just after midnight at Moraga Way and Camino Pablo near the Orinda Theatre Square shopping center. Video above, taken by KRON4 Sports Reporter Kate Rooney, shows several first responders at the scene. The police cruiser was towed away around 1 a.m. and is back at the police station. Repair crews arrived at the scene early Friday morning to try to fix the extensive damage.Wells Fargo was closed at the time of the crash and is expected to reopen at 9 a.m.The cause of the crash is currently unknown but unconfirmed reports say a police chase may have been the reason for the crash. The closure, which started on Thursday, is to prevent swimmers from getting entangled in the weeds and hindering their ability to see in the water. 4 'armed and dangerous' young adults wanted in shoe store robbery DENVER (KDVR) — Police in Longmont are searching for four young adults who were allegedly involved in an armed robbery at a shoe store.On Aug. 23 at 6:17 p.m., Longmont Police officers were called to the Famous Footwear store located at 205 Pratt Blvd. for an armed robbery. Repeat offender caught rifling through mailboxes in Miami Springs neighborhood A 57-year-old woman was arrested after police say she was seen rummaging through mailboxes in a Miami Springs neighborhood. According to the Miami Springs Police Department, the incident occurred on Ludlam Dr., where Marivy Fernandez was found to be in possession of multiple envelopes taken from nearby homes’ mailboxes. Police say Fernandez, who has a history of similar offenses, was discovered behind the 2400 block of Ludlam Dr., Thursday evening. She was previously convicted for engaging in similar incidents in Hialeah. She reportedly crossed the railroad tracks to reach Miami Springs because she was told the city has “really nice homes” and “plenty of opportunities.”Fernandez is now facing charges of burglary to an unoccupied dwelling and petit theft.
