Motorcycle Crash on 26 Mile Road Left 20-Year-Old Escalon Man KilledOAKDALE, CA (April 20, 2023) – Wednesday evening, Edgar Manzo-Mendoza was killed and Eugenio Mendez sustained injuries in a dirt bike accident on Highway 120 outside Oakdale.The incident happened around 8:10 p.m. along westbound 120, approaching 26 Mile Road.According to reports a southbound 1996 Ford pickup stopped at a stop sign at Highway 120. At the same time, a 2003 Honda dirt bike going west on Highway 120 approached 26-Mile Road. Both vehicles proceeded to the intersection and the broadside collision occurred. (KRON) -- Former Theranos executive Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani is slated to begin serving a prison sentence Thursday for his role in a fraud conspiracy that rocked Silicon Valley. U.S. District Judge Edward Davila sentenced Balwani to serve 155 months in prison -- nearly 13 years -- for defrauding Theranos investors and patients. Balwani's sentence is two years longer than that given to his co-conspirator and former lover, Elizabeth Holmes.Holmes, who recently gave birth to her second child, was ordered to turn herself in and report to a federal prison on April 27.
